W:Hello, this is Alice Wilson. May I speak to Robert
Smith, please?
M:Hi, Alice! It’s Robert. What can I do for you?
W:Well, I’m calling about the wild life protection
group I belong to. We’re looking for more people to
join, especially men. And I thought you might be interested.
M:Oh. You know how much I love wild life, but this
is my last year in the middle school. I’m quite busy
with my lessons.
W:But we don’t have much work. We only meet once
a week putting up notices around the forest and asking
the peasants to protect the wild animals in the forest.
In spring and autumn we sometimes organize bird-watching
trips.
M:That sounds very interesting. I’ll join your group.
